Meet Ange

  • Before registering as an authorised wedding celebrant with Australia’s Attorney General’s department, I was an educator (and still am part time).

I’ve taught adults for over twenty years in either University or Vocational Education colleges. I love getting to know and meeting people. This interest had me working overseas in China for a couple of years at the start of my professional career and having the amazing opportunity to work with colleagues from all over the world, ranging from the UK, USA & Europe.

My home now is in Sydney, with Chris, my musican and wedding singer husband from Fine2uned.

  • Couples have complimented me for creating ceremonies that are warm, engaging & inclusive.

My secret to a successful wedding is communication and planning!

I take the time to discuss with you what you want and don’t want in a ceremony.

I’ll work with you from day one to discuss what brings you joy, and what you need to legally do in your wedding.

We stay in regular contact, usually over email. You update me on any changes that take place in planning your wedding and I remind you to complete your paperwork on time!

You will feel supported and kept in touch, throughout the entire planning process.

  • My experience in the education industry has taught me the importance of communication and being organised.

I use these skills as your celebrant when I:

    • engage with a diverse range of people at a wedding ceremony. Everyone, you the couple, your guests and vendors at your wedding will feel included

    • handle unexpected situations that come up prior or during the ceremony with calm and confidence

    • explain complex information clearly so you understand and feel comfortable about the legal and ceremonial aspect of a wedding

    • ensure all elements of the ceremony are in place. I have a pretty good eye for detail, so you can feel at ease when it comes to completing your legal paperwork or writing your personalised vows

As required by law, my formal celebrant qualifications include Certificate IV in Celebrancy and registration with the Attorney General’s Department. Part of this registration includes undertaking compulsory ongoing professional development to ensure that I’m always ready and able to make your day a special one!

  • We all want your big day to be trouble free, however sometime, lightning strikes and there may be times that prevent our original plan from going ahead.

Rest assured, that should something like this happen, your day will still be managed perfectly and I will work with you and hand over your duties to another brilliant celebrant.

This is cost free to you.

All paperwork will be transferred to them. This includes the script we have agreed on and also the legal paperwork.

  • Your wedding is your day, so with every moment, I am guided by you on what you want at your wedding.

All my wedding ceremonies whether they be a legals only or a full customised ceremony, are customised and personal.

No two weddings have been the same, with each one of them being unique in their own way.

From your cheeky elopements in the park where you met, to a formal Chinese traditional wedding, in front of 50 guests, complete with dancing Chinese dragons, to a private intimate beach wedding, to the soft, melodic sounds of a ukulele strumming in the background, to a Sydney Harbour private yacht wedding - what I love is that no two weddings are the same and I would love to bring your uniqueness to life for your wedding day.
